Alex Garncarek has created a magical world that looks like no other - distinctly his own, like artists such as Paul Klee, Miro and others whose visions came directly from their imaginations rather than being derivative. He is Russian and not well-known in the U.S., so you don't see his paintings around that much, and they are still affordable - both, good things. Here one of his typical figures poses with a bright yellow bird in a cage.
