Painting # 090924 by Van Bankston has the impact of minimalism. Color fields in the most soothing colors of green, blue, and a paler blue evoke a deep, lifegiving breath. The proportions of geometric composition offer another level of agreeableness. Soft edges and a gessoed textured canvas surface add more interest.
The painting is signed on the back and framed in a satin black metal canvas floater.
It is wired and ready to hang.

"I hope my art encourages the viewer to stop, pause, and take a breath. My art is an invitation to the pleasure of the present moment through the qualities of color, balance, line, form, and texture for a lifegiving and empowering experience."
