This lot features a vintage 1961 Topps #161 Sherman Jones rookie trading card spotlighting the San Francisco Giants pitcher. The card features a colorized image of Jones mid-motion on the mound, dressed in a light gray team uniform and dark cap. A bright yellow star graphic accents the upper left corner, designating him a "1961 ROOKIE." True to the standard 1961 Topps formatting, the bottom layout uses a dual-color nameplate identifying his name and position as "SHERMAN JONES Pitcher" on a bright yellow box right next to a green block designated for the team name.
