This lot features a vintage 1966 Topps #163 Tito Francona trading card representing the versatile utility player during his tenure with the St. Louis Cardinals. The front layout spotlights a portrait of Francona looking off-camera while holding a wooden baseball bat behind his shoulder, clad in a classic gray jersey and a bright red team cap decorated with the iconic interlocking "StL" logo. Adhering to the standard 1966 Topps set format, a bright yellow diagonal banner slants across the upper-left corner displaying the abbreviated team name "CARDS," which coordinates perfectly with the solid yellow nameplate bar along the bottom border identifying his multi-position eligibility as "TITO FRANCONA 1b-of."
