This lot features a vintage 1966 Topps #123 Chris Krug trading card spotlighting the former Chicago Cubs catcher. The front layout features an action photo of Krug posing in a batting stance at the ballpark, holding a wooden baseball bat over his shoulder. He is dressed in a classic light gray road uniform with blue and red trim, paired with a royal blue team cap decorated with the iconic red and white "C" logo. Adhering to the standard 1966 Topps layout design, a vibrant orange diagonal banner cuts across the upper left corner showcasing the team name "CUBS," which perfectly balances a matching orange nameplate bar running along the bottom border that reads "CHRIS KRUG catcher."
