This lot features a vintage 1966 Topps #116 Walt Alston trading card spotlighting the legendary National Baseball Hall of Fame skipper of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The front layout presents a detailed color close-up portrait of Alston looking thoughtfully off-camera, sporting a clean gray away uniform and his classic team cap decorated with the iconic interlocking white "LA" logo. Adhering to the signature design of the 1966 Topps set, a vibrant orange-red diagonal banner cuts across the upper left corner displaying the team name "DODGERS," which perfectly balances a bold red lower nameplate bar identifying his title as "WALT ALSTON manager."
