Colombian emerald and diamond platinum brooch, early to mid 20th century. Fine quality diamond encrusted foliate sprig design. Set with 5 large rectangular step cut natural Colombian emeralds. Largest stone tested by GIA. Measures 9.91 x 8.17 x 7.09mm. No indications of clarity enhancement. Other stones: 8.9 x 6.2, 8 x 6.3, 7.3 x 6.5, and 6.8 x 6.9mm. Reverse marked PLAT and PK maker's mark. Includes GIA certificate. 2.25in wide. 24.3 grams. This lot matches the emerald and diamond earrings in the adjacent lot also in this auction.
