Colombian emerald and diamond mounted platinum convertible pin-earrings, early to mid 20th century. Each earring with a rectangular step cut natural Colombian emerald (8 x 7.3mm and 7.8 x 7.2mm). 8 x 7.3mm stone tested by GIA. Minor clarity enhancement. Fine quality diamond encrusted foliate settings. Earrings with removable backs in order to attach to pin backing. Earrings marked PLAT and PK maker's mark. Includes GIA certificate. Earrings: 1 1/8in length. Pin about 2in length. Overall weight: 22.6 grams. This lot matches the emerald and diamond brooch in the adjacent lot also in this auction.
