A rare English 17th or 18th Century embroidered and needlework cushion with three oval portrait panels. Flame stick and long stick foliate scrolls frame the bordered portrait panels with vegetive draping. Silk and cotton. Loss to portrait images and scattered damage and fading. Loose treads but form is well retained. Cased. Not examined outside of case. Pillow size approximately 8 x 12 x 2.5 in. over all size 13.25 x 17.5 x 6 in.
