Spanish Romantic silver-mounted dagger, first half 19th Century. Featuring an etched double-edged steel blade and a carved and pierced mother of pearl hilt with figural scenes and winged putti. Silver mounts, with the pommel struck "P / LEON," presumably a maker's or workshop mark. Complete with its original fitted scabbard retaining red velvet panels and richly engraved silver fittings. Overall length: 11 5/8 in. Blade: 6 1/2 in.
