Caucasian Dagestan Silver and Niello Dagger, Early 20th Century. Entire hilt and scabbard richly mounted in silver, finely engraved and highlighted with traditional black niello ornament. Distinctive crossguard with ball terminals and broad mushroom-form pommel. Double-edged steel blade with elegant etched decoration at the forte. Original scabbard retains its wooden core and suspension loop. Blade: 6.75 in. Overall: 12 in.
