Imperial Russian Order of the White Eagle Breast Star by Keibel, St. Petersburg, 1882-1898. An exceptional Imperial Russian Order of the White Eagle breast star by the renowned St. Petersburg firm of Keibel. Finely crafted in silver with gilt reverse and superb blue, red and white enamel, centered by the Order's cross and surrounded by the motto "PRO FIDE REGE ET LEGE" ("For Faith, King and Law"). The reverse retains its original hinged pin and suspension hook and bears the Keibel maker?s marks, Imperial double-headed eagle warrant and 84 silver standard marks. An impressive and highly desirable example of one of the highest orders of Imperial Russia Diameter: 90.2 mm. Weight: 50.0 g
