Russian Federation Transitional Order "For Personal Courage", No. 0035, 1992-1994. Issued during the brief post-Soviet period. Silver with gilt details and white and red enamel. The red enamel ribbon is notably without the inscription "USSR", identifying the distinctive transitional Russian Federation issue. Reverse with raised (Mint) mark and engraved serial number 0035. Suspended from its original pentagonal ribbon mount. A scarce transitional Russian state decoration, distinguished by its exceptionally early serial number 0035 and its direct connection to the transformation of the Soviet award system after 1991.
