Imperial Russian St. George Award Saber Fittings, 1913-1917. Original fittings from an Imperial Russian St. George award saber, comprising the distinctive St. George sword knot (temlyak) of black-and-orange ribbon with silver bullion tassel, together with the enameled St. George badge intended for mounting to the pommel of the saber. The badge features the white-enameled Cross of St. George centered by a red medallion depicting St. George slaying the dragon. An exceptionally desirable surviving group of original components from one of the most prestigious forms of Imperial Russian military award weaponry Condition: Very good original condition with age-appropriate wear and patina; enamel well preserved.
