"Waves" is an oil painting by Monica Shulman inspired by her love of nature and in particular, the ocean. This abstract expressionist work is infused with both the high energy of the ocean and the tranquility of calm seas. Using boldly layered oil pigments and a serene palette of blues including indigo and cerulean, Monica aims to capture an ethereal landscape. Using strokes of vibrant blues, layered with calming and joyful, pink, purple and lavender and textured white, this abstract painting creates a sense of balance and invites nature into your space.
