Miguel Renom de Garate was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1912, he studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Jorge in Barcelona, Spain and at the workshop of maestro Eliseo Meifren; he is considered a master of the Venezuelan landscape, concerned with the capture of light.
