"The Moments Between Us" is a modern nude female drawing created with charcoal, ink, and soft touches of pastel. The figure emerges through expressive gestural lines, while remaining loose and spontaneous. The body is suggested rather than tightly defined, allowing movement and emotion to carry the composition.

Michele Zuzalek is a contemporary abstract and landscape painter living and working in Santa Barbara California and Washington DC. She is a graduate of Art Center College of Design. Her work is widely collected both nationally and internationally.

The contrast between raw charcoal lines and delicate color creates a sense of intimacy and vulnerability. Rather than focusing on detail, the drawing captures a fleeting, contemplative moment. The result feels both modern and timeless, celebrating the human form through expressive mark-making and a balance of strength and tenderness. Framed in a modern black wood frame.
