Artist Len Klikunas paints to modify experienced reality through visual perception. The Blocks series is a mix of art and architecture, hovering between painting and sculpture. It employs shizen (ZiRan): the Japanese concept of naturalness, absence of pretense or artificiality. Material is stretched over a supporting three-dimensional framework, like a tent, and coated with paint.

The work is characterized by "mindful artlessness" and simplicity. Understated and subtle, the work doesn't only refer to itself, and it doesn't explain everything.

This white, beige, red and black artwork measures 12 inches high by 48 inches wide. This painting on canvas is wired and ready to hang. The sides are painted white and it does not require framing. The artwork is double wired, which allows it to hang vertically or horizontally. The artist signs and titles the artwork on the back. Convenient local Los Angeles area shipping. Affordable U.S. and worldwide shipping also available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included.

Len Klikunas' sculptural minimalist works are represented by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles. They have been exhibited and collected throughout the USA.
