Description
Sidney Thomas Guberman (born 1936) watercolor and acrylic on paper, pencil signed, dated 1988 and titled "My Very Best Dance" from the "My Brilliant Career" series in which it was number 4.
Born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1936, Sidney moved to Colorado Springs as a child before attending Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire where he received the John Larkin prize for painting in 1954.
He graduated from Princeton in 1958 and earned a Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967.
