Original oil on canvas by Swedish artist Bertil Wahlberg (1923-1980), signed lower right.

This panoramic composition depicts a stylized Mediterranean village scene commonly identified as "Cudillero." The painting features confident palette knife work, visible impasto, and warm earth tones characteristic of Wahlberg's mid-century European travel landscapes.

Executed with raised, textured oil application, the surface shows authentic brush and knife handling consistent with original mid-20th-century studio work. The simplified architectural forms and small foreground figures reflect Wahlberg's decorative modernist approach to Southern European subjects.

The painting is presented in a clean wood frame with canvas liner (recent reframing). Ready to hang.
