This is a scene of boats on the water in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. It is abstracted into six shapes: the sky, the water, the building, the shore, the boats and the distant shore. The red of the boat makes all the other colors sing. The mood is of a calm and peaceful place. Painted in 2019.
