Bright and dynamic abstract by William Aldridge (20th Century). Layers of acrylic paint have been applied to a smooth surface, creating a transparent effect in some areas. The artist has scratched and scraped the paint, created textured lines in the composition. A layer of glaze has been applied over the top, creating some craquelure and texture.
