This endearing American Folk Art paper mache cat sculpture exudes warmth, character, and a touch of whimsy. Standing proudly with an upright posture and curled tail, it has a wonderfully engaging presence. Hand-painted details-including soft gray shading, bright yellow eyes, and a charmingly expressive face-enhance its personality and folk-crafted appeal.

The surface bears age-appropriate wear such as cracks, scuffs, and areas of paint loss, all of which contribute to its authentic, timeworn character. At just over 20 inches tall, it's a striking decorative piece that brings playful spirit to an entryway, library, living room, or covered outdoor space.

Likely crafted in the United States during the mid-20th century, this sculpture reflects the individuality and imaginative charm that define American folk art traditions.

A delightful and distinctive accent that adds humor, warmth, and artistic soul to any collection or interior.
