This beautiful vibrant painting titled " Celebrating Spring" is not a depiction of landscape, but an immersion into the feeling of the season- the chaotic, joyful and explosion of life that follows winter's slumber.
"Celebrating Spring" is designed to be a "mood swing" on canvas- a transition from the cool, muted tones of previous season into a warm, exuberant brightness. By focusing on abstract forms rather than flowers, the work invites a personal flexible interpretation. One viewer may see the upward momentum of sprouting leaves, while another feels the gentle breeze of a fresh, spring morning. Sonia Gold utilizes impasto techniques and layered glazes to create depth and luminosity on a textured surface.
