Vintage Bijan Brass Copper Laser Cut Out Etching Shorebirds Framed. Bijan likely took advantage of the new "laser etching technology" to create this piece in the late 60's during the short time that he was into etchings. Early in the 1960's scientists discovered, that they could create a light source, focus the energy and have a tool powerful enough to affect a variety of materials.
