Description
The title of the print is "Colonia Agrippina' which refers to the name of the original capital of the roman colony that was located at this site now in Germany. The coat of arms of various families are shown at the bottom of the print. This is a reproduction of a beautiful hand-painted copper plate engraving by M.L. Birbaum dated 1612. This type of print is called a panorama because it shows a broad view of historic Cologne, Germany.
