These jellyfish and octopus paintings are an inseparable friendly pair. "An Octopus's Garden and "Don't be Jelly" are the perfect choice for your coastal art collection. They both have a relaxing tranquil dreamy feeling. Both paintings have rocks covered in colorful mussels. In addition, the fantasy seaweed flows upward and grows in both paintings. Likewise, the seaweed has an almost floral appearance with berry like centers. These jellyfish and octopus paintings are both acrylic on wood. They each measure 30" X 42". "Don't be Jelly" and "An Octopus's Garden" look great side by side or stacked. Not to mention, they look great on opposite walls.

The jellyfish has fluid tentacles and a translucent body. The washes of color are layered, giving it depth and softness. "Don't be Jelly" features 2 jellyfish on white with several blue washed abstract shapes in the background. The jellyfish is made up of tiny dots and lines giving them texture and interest. The octopus companion "An Octopus's Garden" is similar in that it has the same blue washed shapes. The 2 paintings connect side by side with these shapes. The octopus's eye is painted with exquisite detail. His suckers are painted with a remarkable amount of tiny lines and dots.
