Description

Striking large-scale German art print featuring a highly stylized animal form in warm earth tones and expressive, flowing shapes. The composition reflects strong European modernist and expressionist influences, with simplified forms, symbolic movement, and an emphasis on emotional atmosphere rather than strict realism.

The work is professionally mounted to its original board backing and retains a period gallery label from Frankfurt am Main, reading:

H. Tritter
Kunsthandlung
Frankfurt a.M.
Goethestrasse 11

This label places the piece firmly within Germany's established mid-century art-dealer network and supports its authenticity and continental provenance. Frankfurt was a major post-war hub for modern art distribution, and works bearing gallery labels like this were typically sold to private collectors and interiors rather than mass-produced decor markets.

The palette of ochres, rust, deep greens, and soft blacks makes this an especially strong decorative statement piece, ideal for collectors of European modernism, mid-century interiors, or continental animal imagery.
