Art for parrot and bird lovers! "Vine and Dandy" is a painting of a blue hyacinth macaw done in a "Modern Chinoiserie" style. The parrot's feathers are intricately painted with hundreds of blue brushstrokes and a few bright yellow details. Hyacinth macaws are the largest of parrots, measuring nearly 3 feet in length (1m). These cockatoos are native to South America. The tiny lines that detail this blue hyacinth macaw's face can only truly be appreciated in person and up close!

"Vine and Dandy" has a vibrant coral colored background with a bamboo trellis. A pretty yellow blooming vine winds itself along the trellis.

Artist Allison Cosmos also has a fondness for rare, endangered and colorful birds.
Unframed, "Vine and Dandy" is acrylic on wood. This original work of art measures 20'' X 20'' and is signed by the artist Allison Cosmos.
