Description
A mid-century ceramic relish or nut dish formed as a large stylized leaf with a short, curved stem handle. The interior surface is divided into three functional compartments by relief-molded veining. The underside is glazed in white and features a hand-incised mark near the stem that reads N.C.C. 1968.
Length: 12.5 inches
Width: 7 inches
Height: 1.5 inches.
The dish is in good vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the primary body. The top surface shows well-preserved glaze color and luster. There is minor shelf wear to the unglazed foot rim and several small inherent glaze skips or kiln stilt marks on the underside consistent with mid-century studio production.
