A truly unique architectural floor lamp handcrafted from a reclaimed antique solid oak column, transformed into a sculptural lighting piece with remarkable character and presence.

The original column has been carefully split and wired, revealing its beautifully aged surface and creating a striking interplay between architectural form and functional design. Deeply carved Doric-style fluting lends a sense of classical proportion, while remnants of the original painted finish remain scattered across the oak, producing an authentic, naturally developed patina that cannot be replicated.

Rich in texture and history, the lamp celebrates the beauty of age and materiality. The weathered paint, exposed wood grain, and subtle imperfections speak to its architectural origins and make it particularly appealing for interiors that embrace wabi-sabi, rustic modern, organic modern, European farmhouse, or collected eclectic aesthetics.

Likely sourced from an older residential or institutional structure, the column possesses the substantial craftsmanship and old-growth timber quality associated with early architectural millwork. The result is a functional work of art that bridges the worlds of architecture, decorative arts, and interior design.

The lamp is fitted with a simple and easy-to-operate twist switch and offers a warm, sculptural presence whether used in a living room, library, bedroom, or commercial design project.

A rare opportunity to acquire a genuinely one-of-a-kind piece-equal parts architectural artifact, conversation piece, and statement lighting.
