These kind of crowns were placed on statues for special ceremony or procession , from the mid 1800 hundreds they often like here a very beautiful and rich work with inserts of glass stones , they sizes can vary a lot depending the statue , here we have a very pretty piece with a rich decor , the stones pict and bleu makes you think it would be for a statue of the Virgin Mari. N notice in the crown a long piece that was used to maintain the crown on the statue .A reel pleasure for the collectors , their value goes up al the time and of course they become more and more rare . Please check all the other listings of crowns we have in our Chairish shop at Frenchtouch10
