Impressive large-scale Dolbi Cashier brass reclining panther sculpture, measuring 16 inches in length and retaining its original maker's sticker. This one is in remarkable, near-pristine condition.

This is the desirable larger format of Cashier's iconic draped panther form, featuring elongated front and rear paws extending over the ledge - a sculptural detail that gives the piece architectural presence and visual movement. The body is streamlined and elegantly simplified, with subtle planar modeling characteristic of Cashier's modernist animal studies from the 1970s-1980s.

Executed in solid cast brass with a rich, even patina. The finish is warm and consistent throughout, enhancing depth and dimension without over-polishing. The scale makes this a true statement piece for a mantel, console, bookshelf, or cocktail table.

Dolbi Cashier's animal sculptures are increasingly sought after for their ability to bridge Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, and contemporary interiors. The panther model remains one of her most recognizable and collectible forms.

Excellent vintage condition.
Retains original Dolbi Cashier label. No dents, cracks, or structural issues observed. Beautiful patina with minimal surface wear consistent with age.
