Happy happy hippo in art deco red glaze. Unmarked ceramic was made in Germany or Japan in the 20s' as they supported each in the development of their ceramic trade. vermillion red glaze with the characteristic humor of the period. Big wide yap made to be a toothpick holder or a small bud vase. Very very charming. 1.5" by 1.75" by 2.5". INV. SFB# 13
