Description
Pair of antique Staffordshire, King Charles spaniel black-and-white dogs, circa 1850.
These are both slightly different from each other as they were original Staffordshire dogs.
Hand painted
Staffordshire dogs were modeled after Queen Victoria's beloved King Charles, Dash.
As with most early Staffordshire, there is not a makers mark, and they have the small firing Cole of original antique versions, not the dime sized casting hole of reproductions.
Lightweight, raising, usual tight, firing, hairlines. In beautiful shape.
Condition:
Alterations: Original Condition Unaltered
Imperfections: Some Imperfections
Condition Notes: Good Vintage Condition- This listing may be for a vintage/antique item or set, meaning there will be some wear signs of use and is common due to age.
