Crafted in Denmark, circa 1960s, this three-panel screen is a classic example of the Paravent style. Paravents originated in France during the 17th century and were often used as decorative fire screens or room dividers. This particular screen features a natural rattan construction with a woven wicker design that adds both texture and visual interest. The type of rattan used in the frame of this brass hinge connected foldable 3 panel privacy screen is pole rattan aka bentwood.

It would be a perfect addition to a living room, bedroom, or any other space that needs a touch of privacy or style. Bring a touch of Bohemian flair to your space with this beautiful vintage rattan room divider screen.
