Bring the warmth of Provence into your home with this rare vintage Biot French pottery set, featuring a pair of striking candlestick holders and five petite matching cups. The candlesticks 8" high are elegant forms with a rich, glossy mustard glaze. The five small coordinating vessels (approx. 2" high) are versatile as egg cups, salt cellars, condiment pots, or tasting cups. Each glazed to match the candlesticks, they create a charming and cohesive set.
Biot pottery, handcrafted in the South of France, is celebrated for its rustic elegance and warm glazes that reflect centuries of Provencal tradition. The set showcases the timeless craftsmanship and earthy beauty that collectors and design lovers admire. The candlesticks are stamped, and although they both measure 8 inches high one base is slightly smaller than the other adding to its vintage charm. (Please see photos) The small cups are not stamped. All in very good vintage condition.
