Description
An artisanal mid-century drip glaze mannered ceramic lamp is displayed in tones of olive green, mustard yellow, and ripened persimmon earthy color ways. It has a sculptural presence demonstrated by its teardrop-shaped bulbous body, which is a combination motif that captures its contemporary style while remaining fully rooted as a member of the mid-century modernist movement. The drip-glaze technique that leads the maker's design and style is at the root of the creation of this warm yet vibrant piece, and its evidence is clearly seen through the beautiful tonal variation and movement across the rounded form. The lamp has a 3-way lighting turn switch at the bulb socket.
The stunning lamp will arrive with the tapered drum lampshade, which has a cream colored raw linen exterior, a hardback liner, and features a spider fitter to harp attachment. The sphere-shaped acrylic finial is visible just above the shades' rolled rimwhen assembled. When fully assembled, the nature-toned eye-catching lamp and the simple lines of the off-white lampshade offer the perfect mix of scale, character, and mid-century charm.
