This lot features a vintage 1989 Topps Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series 1 #16 Card. Titled "A Man and His Turtles," the front depicts an on-screen animated snapshot of the gentle Hamato Yoshi (before his transformation into Splinter) caring for his four tiny, ordinary pet turtles inside his sewer home. The artwork captures him dressed in a purple kimono at a wooden desk with open books, a quill, and inkwell. The card is finalized with a distinct yellow border, a green turtle shell emblem displaying the number "16" in the lower left, and a bright red title banner.
