Up for auction is a vintage Strombecker Model Electric Road Racing Set No. 312, encapsulated in its original 15 x 15 x 5 box. The box showcases significant wear, including corner tears, creasing, and scuffing-however, it remains an appealing collectible piece for enthusiasts. This set features two original cars, although they are disassembled and the white car body is heavily soiled. The red car body is in relatively better condition but still requires attention. The included track pieces show signs of dust from prolonged storage. Hand controllers and power pack display age-appropriate wear, and it is uncertain if all small plastic guardrail pieces are intact. Documentation includes an original instruction guide and promotional flyer that are yellowed and creased. This set is a fantastic find for collectors and showcases engineering history from a time when Strombecker was a pioneer in the slot car racing hobby. Its historical context is further enriched by an original sales receipt from 'Hobby Center' in Dayton, Ohio. Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of nostalgia!

Shipping:

Pick up and buyer arranged shipping is always welcome. We offer in-house shipping for items that can ship through common carrier. All items will be professionally packed at a reasonable rate. If you paid for the item via Lodestar Auctions or Proxibid we will have your items packaged and send you a link to choose and pay for shipping on the Lodestar Auctions Website.

**Important** Live Auctioneers has their own shipping program. We find it to be very expensive and slow. This is the rate you see advertised when bidding. We do not recommend using them. If you do use them you must checkout via Live Auctioneers and choose LiveShip at checkout. If you pay via Live Auctioneers and want our In-house shipping you must choose self-arranged shipping at checkout. If you checkout via Lodestar Auctions this does not apply. I apologize if this is confusing, Live Auctioneers purposely arranged it this way to push their own overpriced shipping service. We are not happy about this and are trying to make it work.

Issues:

All items sold as is. We do our best to describe accurately and take plenty of non-touched up photos to best represent the item. Any lost or damaged item due to shipping must go through the carriers. Buyer pays any return shipping costs regardless of situation.

Thanks for your patronage and happy bidding!
