This lot features a vintage original 1966 Topps #422 trading card spotlighting shortstop Ed Brinkman of the Washington Senators. Adhering to the distinctive design layout of the iconic 1966 series, the card incorporates a vivid green diagonal banner at the top-left corner reading "SENATORS," beautifully matched by a horizontal footer plate displaying his name and "shortstop" position in clear typography. The central image features a classic batting-stance portrait of Brinkman looking intently over his shoulder while holding a bat, making this an exceptional addition for vintage sports memorabilia enthusiasts, team historians, or dedicated hobby set builders.
