This lot features a vintage 1990 Donruss #126 trading card celebrating iconic outfielder and future all-time home run king Barry Bonds during his early career standout years with the Pittsburgh Pirates. The front exhibits a detailed candid shot of a young Bonds waiting in the batting box with his bat propped on his shoulder, wearing the Pirates' classic white jersey accompanied by yellow wristbands and a black batting helmet. Embraced by Donruss’s vibrant and highly recognizable 1990 red, blue, and black striped border pattern, this card chronicles a key developmental step in his journey right before he would capture his very first National League MVP award later that fall. Produced by Donruss, this classic piece is an indispensable addition for any Pittsburgh Pirates enthusiast or modern baseball card collector.
