Early 21st Century English Needlepoint Tilt Top Table/ Fire Screen

Description

Very unique English needlepoint tilt top table with hinged mechanics that allows the piece to be used as a small accent table or when positioned uptight as a fire screen. I was told there was a piece of glass that fit into the metal corner tabs to allow this charming little piece to be used as a decorative and functional table. Inlaid medallion and decorative molding adds to the character of this distinctive piece. Needlepoint is in good condition with the exception of one small area where there is a small slit. I have not attempted to fix or restore this piece and will defer that to the professionals or new owner. Simply charming is all you can say!

Condition:
Alterations: Original Condition Unaltered

Condition Notes: Overall in very good condition, structurally very sound. Needlepoint has a small slit and two small picks but other than that in great condition. Slit is barely noticeable but want to be transparent.
