A pair of 19th-Century English old Sheffield plate silver candle holders. These candlesticks have decorative removable sconces as shown. They have a lovely soft copper glow where the base metal is exposed. This wear is common on old Sheffield plate and is considered by most collectors to give the silver luminosity and personality.
