Kay Kang Abstract Minimalist Rock and Concrete Mother & Child Sculpture

Description

Gorgeous piece from Bay Area artist Kay Kang! This beautifully executed small relief sculpture is made of molded concrete with a hand-sculpted and polished river rock. The rock depicts an abstract minimalist image of a mother and child. The contrast between the rough texture of the concrete and the smoothness of the river rock and its contour is quite striking. The frame is wood with black paint. Piece is signed and dated on the back. Amazing sculptural piece with a lot of feminine and zen vibes!
