Yellow is making a comeback for
interiors. Found at an antique mall in Massachusetts, this is a wonderful majolica plate. Its light yellow color is on trend and its floral detail works with many styles. It can be hung on a wall or displayed as part of a larger majolica collection. The back of the plate with its brown and cream colors looks like splatter ware. Overall, this older piece is sure to add instant warmth and patina to any interior space.

Condition:
Alterations: Original Condition Unaltered
Imperfections: Some Imperfections
Condition Notes: This remains in its original condition as found. It has patina consistent with age and prior use including, but not limited to minor chips and what appears to be craqueleur. While this is not marked, my research suggests that this is an English piece. This could also be an antique piece, but because neither the antique dealer or I can verify this; I have marked this as vintage.
