This elegant, antique trumeau was crafted in Northern France circa 1870. The long, rectangular mirror is topped with a square, hand-painted mythological scene. The composition shows a couple dressed in classical garments in a lush landscape drinking and dancing while looking at a cherub statue. The frame of the classic trumeau is painted green with gilt trimming. The mirror has its original mercury glass and wood panel back for structure. The piece is in excellent condition and has a bright, fresh color palette. Measures: 38" W x 58" H.
