Condition
The chair appears to be structurally sound and stable. There are no breaks to the cord seat; some fraying to the cords. A few splits forming in the wood along the reticulated elements of the splat. There is a break and evidence of past repair to the scalloped demi-lune element beneath one of the arms of the chair; the element is held in place by the surrounding elements, however, is at risk of becoming fully separated, and further, there is a residual glue visible surrounding the element. There are scattered scratches and scuffs, particularly along the legs and feet. To the metal hardware, there are areas of oxidation, accretions, and light verdigris patination.
