Large Anatolian Turkish flatweave kilim rug, dated 1971. The carpet with central field depicting a large latch-hooked diamond medallion flanked by similar spandrels. Dated "1971" within the weave above the medallion. Bordered by main stripe of bereket fertility symbols. Executed in pale green, pink, blue, beige, and browns on rust red ground. With label from the Anatolian Carpet & Kilim Shop, Istanbul, Turkey.

Condition
The pile is even throughout. There is no evidence of stains, insect damage, or smoke damage. Light wear to the edges.
