Description

Ancient Gandharan stucco head of a youth, ca. 2nd-3rd century. His head turned towards the right, wearing a headdress with a jeweled band along his forehead featuring leaf-shaped pendants. Curled tendrils line the sides of his face.

Condition

Breaks to the back of the head. Some areas of pitting or wear consistent with age. Rubbing or loss of finer details throughout.
